This review of academic literature from 2009 to 2021 was commissioned to provide an updated understanding of the relationship between violent video games and aggression, as well as any impacts of violent video games on attitudes towards women and youth mental health. Due to the relative lack of studies in Australian cohorts, this review was also designed to determine the extent to which international findings can be applied to Australia.
